LEATHER CARE
Leather is a living material that changes over time, becoming more supple and developing a patina. minibag only uses full-grain leather. Its processing allows all natural characteristics - scars, wrinkles, veins and pores - to shine through. These characteristics are not flaws, quite the opposite: the "transparency" of the leather testifies to its quality and resistance to aging. To ensure that your minibag accompanies you for a long time, we recommend:
Protect the leather from adverse weather
Leather is sensitive to all elements of nature, such as water, grease, heat, light, high humidity or dryness and should not be exposed for long periods to strong light or heat sources (direct sunlight, even through the window, heater, etc.) that could alter its color. In case of contact with water, wipe off the liquid immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid marks.
Avoid accidents
Certain substances can irreparably damage leather. These include ink (pens, fountain pens, ballpoint pens) and products containing fat and alcohol (such as make-up, lipstick, perfume). Light-colored leather can be damaged if it comes into contact with hard or dark textiles for too long. The shape of your minibag will remain intact as long as it is not subjected to excessively heavy or improper loads.
Give the leather a break
To preserve its beauty, your minibag needs a rest from time to time. When not in use, it should be stored in the best conditions: away from light, extreme temperatures and humidity, and if possible in the dustbag provided. Desiccant bags are not recommended as they dry out the leather.
With such careful handling, your minibag will only become more beautiful at your side and will take on character over time.
